Delete your account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Via account, the delivery app operated by Rewear (REWEAR LIMITED). Via is Rewear’s in-house delivery network and is used by approved logistics partners and their riders — it does not offer public sign-up. Account holders are partner admins and riders.
How to request deletion
Email privacy@rewearapp.com with the subject line “Delete my account” and include:
- Your full name as it appears in the app.
- The email address (partner admins) or phone number (riders) used to sign in to Via, so we can locate and verify your account.
- The logistics company you belong to, if you are a rider.
We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it. You may also ask your company’s admin to remove your rider account directly.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
- We complete deletion within 30 days, unless we are required or permitted by law to retain certain records (see below).
- We confirm by email once your account has been deleted.
Data that is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove the personal data tied to it, including:
- Your account and identity details — name, email address or phone number, and password.
- Your role and company association.
- Your push-notification token used to send delivery alerts.
- Proof-of-delivery photos and any captured proof-of-delivery location that are not part of a record we are required to retain.
Data that is kept, and for how long
Some information must be retained after your account is deleted to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Specifically:
- Completed-delivery records and payout/financial records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial record-keeping and tax obligations.
- Where we keep such records, we minimise the personal data they contain and, once the retention period ends or the data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
